June is the best month of the year, and my birthday is in July. It's the best because all of the kids are just getting out of school and the beauty and magic of summer is so thick in the air you can taste it. The excitement of outside is still palpable. And rainbows are everywhere. Every-freaking-where.
I would tell Peter Pan that he was being stupid, that not even he could out run biology for I knew, I was intelligent, I had discovered the undoubtable truth, that we all, one day, had to grow up.
My immediate vision was of tying myself into a bow and bopping around on top of someone’s head but I quickly realized it was the bow of a ship. Got it. I can be a ship! Fast forward to me actually on the floor lifting my head and chest up and I realized that I was very wrong. It was a bow. Like one you shoot arrows with. I hate the English language sometimes.
There was this one place where we were using code that I'm not allowed to touch (because of stupid bureaucracy). So I had to convert one Collection of Shorts to a Collection of Integers.
